I’m Ram Onate, the proud owner of Quality Electrical Service, Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I began my career working in a corporate position, which wasn’t fulfilling because of the restraints associated with company policy and structure. I wanted to be in control of the critical decisions that would help the customer, and I felt the only way to make this happen, was to be the boss!

I established my company in 1987 and added the word quality into the name as that was the service which I wanted to provide. Adjusting to running my own business was a challenge at first, but it gave me the freedom to do the best I could to assist the customer.

Over thirty years later, we are still going strong, and the saying is true, the more you give, the more you get. We have evolved full circle, from service-oriented work to new construction, to heavy industrial maintenance, and back to service.

I believe what sets my firm and me apart from the others is that I do more than what is expected, and maintain a high level of integrity in all situations. I also believe that excellence is a decision that develops into a habit, and if you enjoy striving for excellence, then you will be rewarded. Along with this attitude, I attribute my success to being consistent and working with the right people to get the job done.

I also feel an immense sense of accomplishment when others get empowered because of what I’ve achieved through my company either through interactions with employees, partners, or the customer.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, catching up on home maintenance, reading about exciting technologies, and playing golf.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
